After spending some time in the city it was time for a little coastal scenery. What better than to spend an afternoon enjoying the much talked about Bondi to Coogee (or the other way around as we did) scenic walk.
At around 6km and not too difficult, we thought we could manage. Even though it might be said we are ‘past our sell by date’. 😄
So off we went, with our friend from home also visiting Sydney as we were.

Not more than a few hundred metres and we were starting to wonder just how easy this walk was going to be. Many stairs later and we reached another of the beaches dotted along this walk. That seemed to be the most challenging of the walk until later.
A popular walk by all accounts so we were not alone on our travels. Older and younger, walkers and joggers alike.

looking a little like Swiss cheese?
We finally reached the ocean water pool at the south end of Bondi. Surprised to see some serious laps being swam.

Ok. We were happy to arrive at the last few steps of our journey.
Too tired to wander on the beach or swim. Another time perhaps. So we headed for the place I’d looked at ahead of time for us to stop for a well deserved meal.
Hurricane’s Bar and Grill filled the bill of a good steak (as per reviews) and Fish.
My husband had the former and enjoyed the fare. Us ladies chose the fish of the day which was barramundi also very well prepared and enjoyable.

Whoops… sorry. We took a bite before I remembered to get the camera out! Yum!

Off home for bed!
